Collaborations are an important part of expanding our reach and amplifying our mission.
"Established in 2020, Eunoia is a platform for youth to educate others on diseases, raise awareness on health issues, and bridge the gap on disparities. The name Eunoia is derived from the Greek word, εὔνοια, meaning "beautiful thinking" or "well minded."
Our mission is dedicated to foster creativity and provide students a place to express their voices. Together, we can make a difference in global health and be the change in our intersectional world."
The Harvard Undergraduate Microbiology Society was founded in 2025 by a group of students committed to building a serious undergraduate voice on microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, and global health equity. What began as a small founding cohort at Harvard has grown, within a year, into a global network of chapters.
Since launch we have run workshops, seminars, research convenings, and community outreach across the US and Bangladesh. Our members contribute to publication-grade research, federal policy engagement, and chapter programming for World Antimicrobial Awareness Week.
Today, HUMS continues to expand its research, policy, and community work, connecting undergraduate scientists at Harvard with peers and practitioners around the world.
